Christian Leadership Development Program

Christian Leadership Development is vital for healthy churches. Strong Christian leaders are vital for the church to influence the society in which we live. A deliberate plan to develop Christian leaders is critical.

God seeks to work in partnership with his people. Good leaders seek God's vision first through a consistent prayer life and are "able to engage others in the process of developing, sharing a vision, and then living it out." -Christian Leadership World

The need for Christian leadership is modeled by Jesus. He chose his disciples carefully, but he didn't just send them out into the world. He equipped them first and then sent them out into th world to make disciples of all nations. Christlike leadership follows the plan laid down in scripture.

Do you have a plan?

Is there a deliberate plan to develop strong Christian leaders in your congregation?

The Lay Academy for Mission invites you to take a proactive role in Christian Leadership Development. Our program is a complete development course from start to finish. It will equip and inspire laity to use their gifts, develop their leadership skills, and ultimately help transform them into inspiring Christian leaders.

There are six Core Courses paired with Leadership Development Courses. Each is designed to address specific leadership skills and nurture spiritual development. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with an assigned leader/mentor during the programs.

All weekend retreats, one-day training sessions and workshops will be offered for a fee.
