Marilyn Lee
I am a member of North Salem Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky, Ohio. For 33 years I have served as Teacher of Weekday Released Time Religious Education. (Yes, it is possible to do this. If you would like to know more click here) I teach Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
I am a "recycled" member, so I think most of you know me. In the early 90’s, I served as vice-president of the Synodical Women for five years, then president of Southeastern Conference, and now am back on Synodical board. I love teaching and giving Bible studies, and I thank God often for these special gifts. How exciting it was at our last board meeting to see that each of the women on the board have many and different gifts. What an enthusiastic group of women serving you!
I volunteer in the community - bloodmobile, Christian Food Center, Hospital Guild. I am a member of Beta Usando Literary Club
I am a widow and have three sons and seven grandchildren. Two of my favorite pastimes are swimming at Ellis Lake and walking in the park. These quiet places give me time to commune with my Lord. I may not be consciously praying, but God’s beauty, scripture verses I had read, or someone’s wise words speak to my spirit in the silence. God whispers his words of peace and comfort, or guidance and challenge.
